VivoPower developed, designed, financed, and built the 47.6 MW NC-47 Solar Farm in Maxton, North Carolina, USA. NC-47 was the second of two solar farms completed by VivoPower in North Carolina totalling 91 MW.
NC-47 represented the first time Starbucks — a long-time investor in renewable energy — participated directly in the financing of a renewable energy project after years of utilising Renewable Energy Certificate purchases to offset their carbon footprint.
